Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has terminated the appointment of 4 Commissioners within the State council.
Those affected within the exercise, that is in line with government’s commitment to strengthen the system towards optimum performance are:
*Chief Lucky James, Commissioner for government and chieftaincy Affairs;
*Mrs. Blessing Maigida, Commissioner for ladies Affairs;
*Mr. Apostle Aguinede, Commissioner for Basic Education
*Mr. Chris Ebare, Commissioner for Energy and Water Resources.
They are directed at hand over all government property in their possession to the Permanent Secretaries in their several Ministries.
The Comrade Governor expresses his appreciation to the previous Commissioners for his or her services to the state and needs them well in their future endeavours.
According to an announcement by Media advisor to the Governor, Kashim Afegbua, the termination is with immediate effect.
