Rivers State House of Assembly Adjourns Sitting Till March 2016
Members of the Rivers State House of Assembly yesterday Adjourned plenary till March 7 2016 to enable them rest for Christmas and New Year celebration.

The House had yesterday screened and confirmed nominees into various government Ministries, agencies and parastatals as nominated by governor Nyesom Wike.

The principal officers of the House led by its Speaker Rt Hon Adams Daboturidima presented the 2016 Budget to the governor which the House approved last week for Assent.


There are palpable fears in the House over the various Appeals which will be determined this week
